Description

To commemorate the 40th birthday of the International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy (ISSHP), two former Presidents and Secretary/Treasurers have written a monograph of the history of the Society to celebrate its committed to reversing the scourge of hypertensive disease in pregnant women and most of all, to unraveling the cause of preeclampsia and the means to prevent and/or cure it.

The focus of the authors is on anecdotes that aim not only to amuse, but to show the enthusiasm, zeal, and hopefully that sense of humor, that investigators must have to persevere.

This monograph encapsulates what ISSHP has done, is now doing and needs to continue doing.
