The goals of the congress are to continue advancing the knowledge and expertise of health care professionals around the globe by exchange of information, development of collaborative research both basic and clinical, discuss, adopt and upgrade recent guidelines for the management of cardiovascular conditions during pregnancy and the post partal period.
ISOM brings together the diverse range of clinicians and researchers with an interest in the care of pregnant women with underlying medical disorders. We recognize that access to skilled obstetric medicine clinicians varies markedly in different areas of the world and we hope to support a broader propagation of experts in our field.
We invite all cardiovascular physicians, researchers, and students to attend this conference that will provide a window onto tomorrow’s cardiovascular therapies. In addition to invited international and Australian experts in RAS research, speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts, and there will also be poster presentations.
“Hypertension Sydney 2012” will be the 24th Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) in collaboration with the 9th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Hypertension (APSH) and the 34th Annual Scientific meeting of the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia (HBPRCA).

Welcome Message from the ISSHP 2013 Congress Chair
The organizing committee and I personally have a great please to invite you to the next European ISSHP Congress which will be held in Tromsø on 12 - 14 June 2013 under the midnight sun.
Tromsø is exotic in summer with 24 hours sunshine, beautiful mountains & fjords. It has been a gateway to Polar expeditions and is an extremely popular destination. Despite its location in the high arctic North, it is easily assessable from most European countries.
